Advocacy makes a difference! The proposed 10% Medicaid rate cut for ABA therapy has been reduced to 6% because families spoke up and made their voices heard. Thank you to everyone who contacted legislators and the Governor’s office, and to Rep. Robb Greene, Rep. Becky Cash, and Rep. Lori Goss-Reaves for their leadership.

We welcome today’s announcement that the planned 10% Medicaid rate cut for ABA therapy will be reduced to 6%. We are grateful to the many families who contacted their legislators and the governor’s office to explain how a 10% cut would have affected their children’s services. We also thank Rep. Robb Greene, Rep. Becky Cash, and Rep. Lori Goss-Reaves for their leadership. Their steadfast advocacy on this issue made a meaningful difference for families across Indiana. Choice matters.

When decisions about disabled lives are made without disabled people, autonomy is lost — in everyday moments and in policy decisions that shape access to care, housing, and independence.
Disabled people belong at the table.

Representation matters. Seeing accessibility and inclusion in our media and technology moves disability equity forward.
