The Low Vision Centers of Indiana is excited to announce the joining of Dr. Ali (Norton) Prible to our practice!

Dr. Prible graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry with her Doctorate of Optometry in 2019. As a student, Dr. Prible was selected as a member of the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society, which is awarded to the top 3% of upper-classmen who demonstrated outstanding professional and ethical attitude through leadership and service to their class, college, and profession. Upon graduation, she was awarded the Henry Hoffstetter Scholarship, awarded to the Indiana University School of Optometry graduating fourth-year who was voted among classmates for leadership and dedication to the profession of Optometry.

Before attending the Indiana University School of Optometry, Dr. Prible graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Franklin College where she was a member of the women’s soccer team. As a fourth year in optometry school, Dr. Prible was selected for the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute rotation in Miami, FL, where she got to spend 6 months learning at the #1 ranked eye hospital in the country. Dr. Prible trained extensively in disease while completing the rotation, and experienced less common ocular diseases and disorders, such as retinitis pigmentosa, achromatopsia, and albinism.

Dr. Ali Prible served on two mission trips as an optometry student to provide eye care for underserved Jamaican populations. She also held several leadership roles while at IU, including Sports Vision Club President and Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) President.

Dr. Prible also completed low vision, neuro-ophthalmic, retinal, and corneal training at the Indiana University Indianapolis Eye Care Center. She also trained in primary care and contact lenses at Marine Corps Base Quantico, providing care for active duty military personnel. She is available to provide low vision and primary eye care for infants to seniors, and specialized treatment and management of patients with ocular diseases such as glaucoma, dry eye disease, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease, as well as other inherited retinal disorders.

She is now seeing patients in our Hartford City, Indianapolis and Fort Wayne locations. Call to schedule a low vision evaluation with her today!

We will still be taking care of medication refills, emergencies, etc. Please call our office and leave a voicemail. We will be checking it throughout the day and calling you back.
