Hooverwood Living

Hooverwood Living For more than a century, Hooverwood has served the elderly with dignity & respect. At Hooverwood, we recognize each resident as a unique individual.

We care for the whole person in an energetic, active, and social environment. Our goal is to provide a home where residents can thrive. Hooverwood is a nonprofit nursing home located on the Max and Mae Simon Jewish Community Campus in northwest Indianapolis. Our home is Medicare and Medicaid certified, providing skilled nursing and medical services, rehabilitation, dementia care, and adult day services. We’ve created a home-like setting with private and semi-private rooms. Residents can enjoy amenities including a beauty shop, gift shop, courtyards, and chapel. We invite you to take a tour of Hooverwood, and see what makes our home a special place for our residents and their families.

February recognition, well deserved! 🌟

Help us celebrate our February Employee of the Month, Dorothy, and our February Rising Star, Haylee!

Dorothy continues to shine with her positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help wherever needed. Since joining the Activities team, she’s been doing a fabulous job connecting with residents and supporting her department. Haylee has made an impressive impact in a short time. Her bubbly personality, quick learning, and ability to juggle multiple responsibilities help set the tone for everyone who walks through our doors.

We’re grateful to have both of these standout team members at Hooverwood Living—thank you, Dorothy and Haylee! 💚✨

The other day, we had the privilege of witnessing a beautiful Jewish tradition right in our lobby.

We were honored to welcome our neighbors from Etz Chaim Sephardic Congregation as they gathered in song and prayer before joyfully parading a new Torah back to their temple. Moments like these remind us how meaningful shared traditions and togetherness can be!
