Paula Villa and Carlos Muñoz are a married couple from Isla de Margarita, Venezuela, who have suffered a terrible car accident after being hit by another car that tried to avoid a pothole on the road, the occupants of the other vehicle escaped after the impact, ignoring the call for help, abandoning the vehicle they were traveling in and causing serious physical injuries to Paula and Carlos.
Video about the accident
Paula Villa is 49 years old and suffered the most serious injuries, with multiple hip fractures which require urgent major surgery according to the studies that have been carried out. In addition to having bruises and cuts on her skin all over her body, including her face.
To urgently operate on Paula, it is necessary for us as a family to gather the necessary economic resources to acquire the necessary hip kit, cover the surgery, and its subsequent care for effective recovery, an amount that exceeds US $8,000.
Carlos Muñoz, affectionately known as "Pipo", also suffered serious fractures in his clavicle, arms, ribs, and ankles, as well as multiple bruises all over his body. The most serious fracture is in his left arm, and he must be operated on urgently. For this, the family must gather an additional US$ 2,000 for the surgery itself, medical supplies, and subsequent care.
With them also traveled their great friend Elezar, who suffered fractures in both legs and is also currently recovering with medical care.
Carlos and Paula's children live abroad, Carlos Daniel and Valentina Muñoz, and they have exhausted their savings by assuming the emergency and traveling from Panama and Chile to take care of their parents and help them recover. Their mobilization was possible thanks to the fact that the entire family has come together in the face of this tragedy to ensure that the best help is available for Carlos and Paula at this very delicate moment.
For our entire family, this accident has not been easy to deal with in terms of both economics and emotions, so we ask for your small donation to help Carlos and Paula fully recover from the physical traumas they have suffered after the accident. On behalf of the entire Muñoz Villa family, we thank you for your help.
