Stacey Vitale, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a licensed speech-language pathologist who joined PSA
in June 2023. She earned her degree from Indiana State University and brings over 25
years of clinical experience to the team.
Stacey previously lived in Illinois, where she served as a Lead Therapist for more than 14
years. Her background includes providing speech services to both adult and pediatric
populations across a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation,
schools, and home-based interventions.
In 2016, Stacey relocated to the Indianapolis area and joined Peyton Manning Children’s
Outpatient Rehabilitation Services. She has a strong clinical interest in working with
infants and children with dysphagia, complex feeding disorders, and sensory/behavioral
feeding challenges. Stacey has presented on feeding and swallowing topics at Sarah
Bush Lincoln Hospital, the East Central Illinois Speech and Hearing Association
Conference, and as a guest speaker at Eastern Illinois University.
Stacey currently divides her time between Peyton Manning and providing early
intervention services through First Steps in Indiana. She lives in Zionsville, IN, with her
husband, three children, and three pets. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling,
and cheering on the Chicago Cubs. Stacey finds joy in the little things—something both
her family and PSA/First Steps have helped her appreciate

Meet Asher! During only our 2nd session, we addressed some sensory concerns that may have been creating challenges toward communication. Once regulated, he said “Mama!” for the first time while looking directly at his sweet mama who had waited months to hear her name! He imitated “ball” to request continuation of a game we had been playing and was then so exhausted from talking that he fell asleep while bouncing! His mom is excited to see what else Asher can do!

This past Wednesday and everyday we celebrate the incredible strengths, perspectives, and possibilities of children of all abilities. Every child learns and grows in their own unique way and that diversity is something to honor, not “fix.”
International Day of Persons with Disabilities is a reminder that when we remove barriers and provide the right support early on, children can thrive in ways that reflect who they truly are. We are so honored to be a part of that journey.
Let’s uplift every child’s voice. Let’s champion acceptance. Let’s build a community where all abilities are welcomed and celebrated!
