The 340B Drug Pricing Program allows community health centers like HealthNet to purchase medications at a lower cost. Because of 340B, we can:
💊 Lower medication costs for patients
🏥 Expand access to essential services

Right now, a proposed Medicaid State Plan Amendment could drastically reduce 340B funds for Indiana’s community health centers. As a community health center, we’re asking FSSA to stop this proposal or at least exempt community health centers.

HealthNet Now offers same-day care from the team you already know and trust. From cold and flu symptoms, sore throats, rashes, and minor injuries to UTIs, vaccines, short-term refills, follow-up care, and some physicals, we make it easier to get care quickly and close to home. 🩺

Same-day care is available in person or virtually at HealthNet Barrington Health & Dental Center, HealthNet Southwest Health & Dental Center, and HealthNet Speedway Health & Dental Center. 📍

Established patients can also walk in Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 11 AM. Care stays connected to your HealthNet provider and team, with Medicare, Medicaid, Hoosier Healthwise, and most commercial insurance accepted. Sliding fee discounts and interpreter services are also available. 🤝

We had a great time on-site at the Managed Health Services - MHS Adventure Awaits Healthy Family Jam at the Avondale Meadows YMCA! 💙💚

Our HealthNet team was proud to support this community event by sharing information about our services, highlighting the HealthNet Eye Care Center and HealthNet Pharmacy, providing free blood pressure screenings, and connecting families with support through Healthy Families. Events like this are a great reminder that health and wellness start with access, education, and meeting people where they are.

National Nutrition Month is a great reminder that what we eat can have a big impact on heart health. 💙🥦

One important number to know? Your blood pressure. 🩸 High blood pressure often has no symptoms, but it can increase your risk for heart disease and stroke, making regular checks essential. 🩺

High blood pressure can affect the upper number (systolic), the lower number (diastolic), or both. If either the upper number or the lower number is consistently elevated, you have high blood pressure. Here's what the numbers mean:

🔵 Normal:
- Upper less than 120
- Lower less than 80

🔵 Elevated:
- Upper 120-129
- Lower less than 80

🔵 Stage 1 High Blood Pressure:
- Upper 130-139
- Lower 80-89

🔵 Stage 2 High Blood Pressure:
- Upper greater than 140
- Lower greater than 90

🔵 Severe High Blood Pressure: Contact your HealthNet provider
- Upper greater than 180
- Lower greater than 120
- No symptoms of high blood pressure

🔵 Hypertensive Emergency: Call 911 immediately 🚨
- Upper greater than 180
- Lower greater than 120
- Experiencing chest pain, shortness of breath, back pain, numbness, weakness, change in vision, or difficulty speaking
