Genesys Solutions, in partnership with Stop the Violence Indianapolis and Catch the Stars Foundation, proudly presents the final Skate for SELF event of 2025!

Join us on Tuesday, December 9th, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Skateland
📍 3902 N. Glen Arm Rd., Indianapolis, IN

Come celebrate the close of the year with an evening dedicated to movement, joy, and community wellness. This free, family-friendly event is open to the public and designed to uplift, connect, and inspire.

The first 200 guests receive free admission AND free skate rental. Thanks to the generous sponsorship from Catch the Stars Foundation. After the first 200 skaters: admission: $6.00 skate rental: $5.00 and spectator fee: $3.00.

But it doesn’t stop there because this isn’t just a skate night; it’s a celebration of community, resilience, and joy. Expect music, raffles, wellness resources, and a special toy giveaway for children ages 13 and under.

Let’s glide into wellness and close out the year together with gratitude, movement, and collective strength!

These are a few of the Resilience Canvas Healing Circle (RCHC) pieces from last week.

All expressed by high school age girls and boys. All of them tell a story and these hit me the hardest!

The weeping willow and her laying under the tree reading her bible - strength.

The releasing of the balloons to take back control and have positive/healthy emotions.

The sewing of the heart with the needle of life.

Healing is possible with positive affirmations pouring into themselves.

Acknowledging that they messed up, while holding themselves accountable!

Their voice, their perspective and their journey!

Genesys Solutions recently hosted another incredible Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) training session. I’m always in awe of our community, our leaders, peers, and caregivers who come together with a shared commitment to learning how to better support youth experiencing mental health challenges.

Each training fosters a brave space where participants can be open, vulnerable, and reflective. It’s inspiring to see individuals share both personal experiences and stories from their work with youth, all in the spirit of growth and understanding.

We’re grateful to everyone who continues to trust GS with their professional and personal development in areas of mental health, diagnosis, and wellness.
