Hello ladies! Many of you may remember when a few of us spoke on a panel at one of our meetings awhile ago. We traveled to Cambodia, with The Creek, to visit the Rapha House and spend time with the girls who had been rescued from sex-trafficking and we came back and shared our experience with you all.

My dear, close friend Kellie Nowacki with the lemondime was with me as part of the panel. I'm sure several of you are familiar with her work and may even wear one of her beautiful Lemondime necklaces around your neck or carry your keys on one of her 'difference maker' keychains!

When we returned from Cambodia, our hearts were changed forever and Kellie began to have a vision...a mission to do more with her business. She wanted to expand her business to provide dignified work in a safe, loving environment for sex-trafficking survivors and those at risk, and train them to use their skills to empower themselves and others!

I am honored and privileged to work alongside with Kellie and am part of The Lemondime team. We launched a Kickstarter Campaign in hopes to make this vision a reality. We need the funds to secure a safe location, to buy the equipment and supplies needed, as well as to provide fair wages.

We ask that you PLEASE take the time to visit the Kickstarter website to view our 'Beloved by The Lemondime' project campaign. Please take the time to watch the 4 minute video to hear what it's all about and read how your support will help to meet this incredible need.

If you are unaware of what a Kickstarter is, it is a crowd-fundraiser that is an ALL or NOTHING campaign. We MUST meet our goal within the time given, or we do not receive any of the money and the donors do not get charged. We have set a God-sized goal of $25,000 to get our project up and running, but if we are to surpass that goal...we could do SO MUCH MORE to help these girls! We already have one survivor working with us...you can hear her voice on the video...as well as on FOX59 this evening during the 5 and 6 o'clock news and WTHR13 at 5:45!!

If you visit the lemondime page, please view the comments of the post pinned to the top of the page. There is a comment from a girl, still being trafficked, who is following this campaign....THIS IS REAL...we need to help these girls!

ANY donation helps!!! We have 241 backers (and $17,665 raised), but our campaign has been seen over 30,000 times. Just think how if each person who has seen the campaign would donate $10, we would have over $300,000!!

My neighborhood, Burton Crossing, is having their sale this weekend from 8-2. I have stacks of size 14 and size 16 jeans for $2 each. I have some Medium and large size shorts from Target for $1 each. I also have some Boy Scout pants and shorts if anyone needs them.
