Researchers in the Department of Human Development and Family Science are recruiting caregivers (e.g., parents) and teachers of preschool-aged children to participate in a study on early childhood social-emotional well-being and mental health risk screening in preschool.

The lab is recruiting two groups of participants:
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parents/caregivers of a child between the ages of 3-5 who is currently enrolled in a preschool program in Indiana
👩‍🏫 Preschool teachers who currently work with children between the ages of 3-5 in a preschool program in Indiana

All participants must be able to read and speak English.

The 97.3 WMEE Family Festival — formerly known as the Baby Fair & Family Expo — took place on February 21st at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne. It’s one of the area’s longest-running family events and was free to attend for all ages.
Infancy Onward hosted a table at the event, sharing information, educational materials, and resources to support families and professionals. The team engaged with attendees throughout the day, providing guidance and raising awareness about infant and early childhood mental health. 💚
