🧀🌮 Celebrating National Nacho Day! 🌮🧀

Community Nursing and Rehabilitation, enjoyed a festive afternoon in honor of National Nacho Day. Everyone had the opportunity to create their own nacho plates with a variety of delicious toppings, making for a fun and flavorful celebration.

Congratulations Jacqueline Buckhalter-Gammons, Receptionist, our Quest for Excellence winner for 2025! We are looking forward to honoring this year's outstanding Quest Winners at the banquet on November 13 at the Marriott in Indianapolis.

After receiving a life-saving kidney transplant in December 2015, Jacqueline had a calling to give back to the healthcare field, joining Community in January 2016.

Jacqueline was nominated for this award because of her willingness to help beyond her job title, for always being a friendly presence, and for building meaningful relationships with residents, staff, and visitors. Her compassion shows through every interaction; her accountability is present when taking care of duties at Community and her second job, Supervisor Facilitator for the DCS system. Her relationships are evident the minute she walks through the door; and her excellence resonates through the positive feedback received by others daily.

Jacqueline is a proud wife, mother to three daughters, and 13 grandchildren. She enjoys time with family, going to movies, and listening to gospel. When asked what being nominated for this award means to her, she states, “It’s a great honor to know that my work has not gone unnoticed. You can’t begin to imagine how proud I am. It’s my passion to continue filling hearts with joy, even in the midst of my own storms.”

Business Office Manager, Rena’ Jessie, shares a quote that she feels embodies Jacqueline: “She doesn’t allow herself to be a product of surroundings, but encourages her surroundings to be a product of her personality.”

This October, our CNR team proudly went pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 💗 Staff and residents came together to raise awareness, celebrate survivors, and honor those we’ve lost.From pink outfits to decorations and special activities, we united for a cause that touches so many lives. 💕
