Happy Thanksgiving from Dove Recovery House for Women!
Yesterday, volunteers came together to prepare a wonderful meal for our Doves and their families, filling our home with warmth, fellowship, and gratitude.

Dove House has so much to be thankful for— from the ability to provide hope and save lives, to the incredible support we receive from our community and partners. Our hearts are full. Gratitude today and every day.

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Dove Recovery House for Women.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible volunteers, Becky Fee and Board Member Rudo Tambanemoto!

Your dedication—attending training on behalf of Dove Recovery House and working the Giving Machine to spread awareness—makes a real difference.

Volunteers bridge the gap, stand in the balance, and help us carry out our mission every day. We’re honored to have you standing with us. Thank you!

Yesterday, Dove House was honored to participate in the Ivy Tech Mental Health Resource Fair. We value every opportunity to engage with students and the community, share our mission, and offer resources that can make a difference.

Thank you to Ivy Tech Community College for welcoming us and creating space for meaningful conversations about mental health and recovery.

Later this month, Dove House supporters will have a unique opportunity to give in a fun and engaging way. Giving Machine Indy, a nonprofit initiative, helps other charitable organizations raise funds through vending machine-style donation experiences.

The Giving Machine’s mission is to Light the World by connecting people to causes both locally and globally. It’s a wonderful family-friendly activity that introduces children to the joy of giving through a hands-on experience.

Giving Machines will be available at the following locations:
Bloomington, Fountain Square: November 20 – December 10
Carmel Christkindlmarkt: November 19 – December 24
Clay Terrace: December 12 – January 4

Be sure to follow us on social media for updates and ways to get involved!

Behind every statistic, there is a comeback story.

The mom reunited with her children.
The woman who moved into her first home independently.
The survivor who finally believes in herself and her abilities.

These comeback stories start at Dove House.

When you support Dove Recovery House for Women, you’re giving Indiana women a chance to re-write their own stories.

Exciting things are happening at Dove House, and CEO, Wendy Noe, has been at the helm of it all. Today, she’s peaking out from behind the scenes to share some updates.

As always, Wendy is filled with gratitude— for all of the support Dove House receives— but specifically for the new camera donated by our tech partner, Reciprocal Technologies.

Wendy and the team look forward to sharing more stories and showing you just how far your generosity stretches.

We’ve accomplished a lot, but there are still so many women out there who need Dove House.

We’re grateful to the Indiana Pacers and Pacers Pals for an unforgettable experience! Last week, our Doves and staff cheered on the Pacers as they faced the Brooklyn Nets, and the following evening, we enjoyed a delicious dinner served by the Pacers themselves.

We truly appreciate being included and love every opportunity to share a fun, sober night out together. As always, we had a great time. 🏀

Dove House takes its role in women's recovery seriously and that extends to how external factors impact women's recovery services across the state, not just Dove House. Our CEO Wendy Noe shares in this week's Indianapolis Business Journal how recent shifts in Medicaid are hurting women in recovery and the state's workforce as a whole. Read the article below to learn more.

Recovery programs like Dove House exist within an interconnected system of health, workforce and community outcomes. When access to one part of that system erodes, the others inevitably feel the impact.

In Dubois County, one of Dove House’s new initiatives is an Al-Anon meeting for families of those with substance use disorder.

Supporting someone with this disease can be tough. Our goal is to create a safe space for families to connect, share, and maybe even find some healthy ways to cope.

We’re all in this together, as one community, standing against substance use disorder.

Join us at our next meeting on November 16 in Dubois County.
