Meet Dr. Lee! Dr. Sydney Lee has been with us since October as our newest optometrist and dry eye specialist, but she is no stranger to Nora Eye Care. She worked as an optometric technician with us for years before deciding to pursue optometry school. We are so happy to have her back with us as a doctor!

Dr. Sydney Lee practices full-scope optometry. She graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry. She attended Indiana University for her undergraduate degree as well and received a Bachelors of Science in Human Biology. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and Indiana Optometric Association. Dr. Lee has special interest in dry eye and pediatric exams.

Dr. Lee is from Fishers, Indiana and loves being able to serve members of the community she grew up in. She has a passion for giving back and has volunteered to give eye exams to an underprivileged population, both locally and abroad. She severed as a board member for Volunteer Optometrist Services to Humanity while in optometry school with the goal of providing eye health resources to those without access.

In her free time, Dr. Lee loves to spend time with her husband, young son, and with her 3 dogs and cat. She loves to listen to audiobooks, podcasts and watch movies. She loves to explore local restaurants and coffee shops and would love to know your recommendations! Dr. Lee is accepting

Meet Dr. Welling!

Dr. Christina Welling graduated from the Indiana University School Of Optometry with her Doctor of Optometry degree. Prior to that, she attended Indiana University and earned bachelor of science degrees in Psychology and Neuroscience. She is a member of the Indiana Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Welling practices full-scope optometry, with a focus on specialty contact lenses.

Dr. Welling grew up on the West Coast, but has lived in Indianapolis since high school, where her interest in optometry began. After treatment for an eye injury, Dr. Welling learned about the world of eye care, which completely changed her career goals.

In her free time, Dr. Welling loves to try new restaurants, travel, read, and spend time with her husband and young son. Dr. Welling is accepting new patients. Her dedication to working with the team at Nora Eye Care has allowed her to focus on patient education and meeting the specific needs of each of her patients

Meet Dr. Cooper! As the owner of Nora Eye Care, Dr. Cooper wears many hats, but caring for patients is still the best part of the job.

Dedicated to patient-centered care, Dr. Cooper practices full scope family eye care and has special interests in ocular disease, dry eye, and surgical co-management. Dr. Cooper received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with honors from Indiana University and a Minor in Music. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and Indiana Optometric Association. She participated in volunteer trips to Ghana and Mexico to provide eye care.

Dr. Cooper grew up in Carmel, Indiana, and returned to the area to be close to family and serve members of her community. She has wonderful memories of visiting her grandfather’s optometry office in Rockwell City, IA as a child. Dr. Paul Underriner was an intelligent and caring man, and seeing how he helped others as well as a love of math and science are what drew Dr. Cooper to the optometric profession.

Dr. Cooper lives with her husband, two young daughters, and her German Shepherd in Cicero. She enjoys spending time outdoors on Morse Reservoir, playing trumpet with her bandmates, and curling up with a good book. Dr. Cooper is accepting new patients and looks forward to caring for you and your family.
