We were honored to included in a donor appreciation event hosted by the Indiana Blind Children’s Foundation for a firsthand look at how the past three galas have transformed into meaningful, tangible impact.

From enhancements to preschool classrooms, to expanded adaptive technology, to the new adaptive kitchen — every space reflects not only the generosity of IBCF's supporters, but the fervent commitment of ISBVI teachers and administrators to providing meaningful opportunities to blind and low vision students.

We had the opportunity to tour the school, admired beautiful artwork, and read heartfelt words of encouragement from the Kindness Club — powerful reminders of why this work matters.

We were especially grateful to hear from keynote speaker Kathy Nimmer, 2026 Helen Keller Achievement Award recipient from the American Foundation for the Blind, whose words inspired us all to continue to focus on opening doors of happiness and ushering others through.

❄️Dry Eye symptoms can worsen in winter due to low humidity, cold winds, and artificial indoor heating, which can cause tears to evaporate faster. All that extra time indoors on screens can further exacerbate irritation, redness, and grittiness. 🔥😵‍💫
