Some stories aren’t defined by a single moment.

Greg Kanney’s is about what happens after everything changes.

Loss. Disruption. The kind of moments that can make anyone pull back from the world.

For Greg, it meant losing parts of himself, the music, the laughter, the connection. And then, slowly, finding them again.

Today, he’s smiling, singing, rebuilding trust, and rediscovering joy.

Meet Maddox. 💙

He is full of love and joy; the kind of spirit that makes you smile from the moment you meet him.

But Maddox’s journey has not been easy. Diagnosed with autism at a young age and living with epilepsy and apraxia, communication and everyday experiences can be incredibly challenging. For his family, there have been moments of uncertainty, heartbreak and quiet strength.

Then they found Damar.

Through therapy, support and a community that truly understands and cares, Maddox has made incredible progress. Step by step, he has built new skills, new confidence and new possibilities for the future.

In this video, Maddox’s family shares their story, a powerful reminder that every child deserves to be seen, supported and given the chance to experience the joy of simply being a kid.
