Roudebush VA Medical Center, is located in Indianapolis, and offers a wide range of medical services, including emergency care, inpatient and outpatient services, mental health services, and specialized programs that meet the needs of all Veterans. VA's National Cemetery Administration scored 98 out of 100 on the American Customer Satisfaction Index, the highest ever attained. This marks the eighth consecutive time NCA has ranked first nationwide in the survey. The average government score for 2025 is 70. No other public, private or nonprofit organization in the country has received the consistently high customer satisfaction ratings as NCA over the past decade-plus.

Our Story

Veteran Health Indiana (VHI) improves the health of the men and women who have so proudly served our nation. We receive Veterans from across the Hoosier State and referrals from Illinois. The Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis is the flagship tertiary care facility for VHI, the home base for a comprehensive system of inpatient and outpatient care across Indiana. We’re expanding even more - a new 80,000 sq. ft. facility in Brownsburg will serve 20,000 Veterans yearly.
