Stemming from the experience of losing her 10 week old daughter to SIDS in 2008, Mel McMahon is excited and optimistic about the development of a new nonprofit in Indianapolis, Infant Loss Alliance. Infant Loss Alliance is a resource center to parents, grandparents, siblings, relatives, and friends of the infant that passed away, concentrating on SIDS, pregnancy, and the loss of children under the age of one.

A wave of light will spread around the world for 24 hours in honor of our children’s love and light that lives on forever. Participating in the Int’l Wave of Light is a beautiful way to show your support and solidarity with all grieving parents worldwide, whether you are a grieving parent, know one, or don’t know any, but want to show your love and support. We are all connected! Let’s light up the world with love in honor of every precious child gone too soon, tomorrow at 7pm on October 15th.
