Our residents enjoyed a cooking demonstration creating a traditional Korean treat, hotteok, which is a popular street food consisting of a sweet, chewy pancake filled with a warm, gooey mixture, traditionally brown sugar, cinnamon, and nuts, pan-fried until crispy on the outside and soft inside. Along with the demo, we had Cal, one of our servers, join us for fun facts about Korea. This was a great experience for the residents, mixing culture and delicious fun all in one!
