Getting a kidney transplant shouldn’t feel like “interviewing for your life.”

The TREAT team is building the data and tools patients, providers and health systems need to better navigate the transplant process and improve access to care.

See how their work is making an impact.

Many patients with kidney failure never make it to transplant. Not because they can’t, but because the system is too complex to navigate.

The TREAT team is working to change that. By identifying where patients are lost along the transplant journey, researchers are helping improve access to a treatment that can extend life and restore quality of life.

This , see how data is driving a more connected path to transplant.

Access to kidney transplant isn't the same everywhere.

A study of more than 60,000 patients found that dialysis centers differ widely in how quickly patients begin transplant evaluation and reach the waitlist. Factors such as staffing, patient support and resources can play an important role.

This , new research highlights opportunities to improve transplant access.
