During the LOINC® Conference in Montreal, the Global Health Informatics team introduced the first open-source, AI-enabled platform designed to tackle the terminology mapping bottleneck in digital health projects. Open Concept Lab (OCL) Mapper, the beta web-based tool, helps users map health data to standard terminologies like LOINC, supporting resource-constrained settings and low- and middle-income countries.

The tool was developed with partnership from the Regenstrief Health Data Standards team and with global partners such as the Open Concept Lab community, OpenMRS, Madiro, MSF (Doctors without Borders) and others.
