IHMFC is funded by the US Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Office of Family Assistance through a 5 year continuation grant to conduct pre-marital training, relationship-building for married couples and faith-based marriage preparation courses in 7 target areas. Each area is served by a Lead Agent, Family Life Coordinator, Outreach Administrator and a core group of certified facilitators in each of the four curricula:

“The purpose of National Black Marriage Day is to emphasize the beauty of black marriages and to celebrate couples for their sacrifices and loyalty. The idea is to strengthen family and community ties so that children are raised in a safe and wholesome environment; nurtured and taught to become productive members in their communities.”

If You care about our Children -- and i know You do -- please, consider coming to help create a 5-Year Plan to achieve Equity in Education for them.

There'll be other, like-minded Sistas and Bruthas collectively joining minds, heart, and determination to build a public will in Indianapolis to realize the "Promise of Brown" (versus Topeka, KS, Board of Education) 70 years since the Supreme Court issued that decision to make it the law of the land.

It's obvious to even the casual observer that the promise has not been met. So, it's up to US the provide for our Children the Equity Brown promised.
