Our path to natural health alternatives has been exciting and a true adventure. Everytime we have tried something new we have healed ourselves a little more. Salt For Your Soul has been a long time coming. A few years back we tried halotherapy (dry salt therapy) because we had chronic sinus issues, and were hoping this would work to clear our sinuses. The first time we experienced halotherapy we each had a sinus headache. We came out of our first treatment with no sinus pain, improved breathing, and completely relaxed. We felt tremendous!
At Salt for your Soul, we are both believers in a natural, homeopathic lifestyle. We believe in taking care of our body, mind, and soul without relying on traditional Western medicine. We know that lives today are busy; too busy. With work and family demands, often times we put everyone else first, neglecting to take care of ourselves. We think we've found two incredible ways to improve your mental and physical health: Halotherapy and flotation therapy, and put them in one convenient spot. We truly believe in the saying, “ The more relaxed you are, the better you are at everything”.
At Salt for your Soul, we believe that nothing makes someone feel better than helping someone else. We will donate 3% of every dollar spent on halotherapy to Prevail of Central Indiana, which advocates for victims of crime and abuse, and 3% of every dollar spent on pet halotherapy to the Boone County Humane Society.
At the time we both were teachers and somedays we need to take a deep breath and relax. Salt For Your Soul was just a dream back then and that dream is now a reality. We will be giving each person who enters part of our soul. Each service purchase will be donating to designated charities. Salt room purchases will donate towards Prevail, When we think of holistic healing we think of the whole self. Our Motto: What makes someone feel better than helping someone else? Take the first step to naturally healing your mind , body and of course your soul.
I am a mother of four amazing children: Connor, Olivia, Charlize and Trinity. My elementary education degree is from Indiana University. I was an elementary teacher for years and have been in many different classrooms. I decided to go back to school and I will be getting an Applied Neuroscience Certificate in May from Butler University. I have studied how trauma effects the brain and learning. My knowledge of holistic remedies and emotional healing will help lead people to their journey of healing. A journey that I started many years ago and will continue on for the rest of my life.
