It's hard to comprehend, but it was 105 years ago on this date March 17, 1919, that my grandmother Nellie Linehan died of the Spanish flu. Just three days after childbirth, she died at home. My dad was 5 years old. My grandfather never remarried and died 40 years later. This is their wedding locket, and Nellie in the doorway of their home in 1918. It is an Irish blessing to enter Heaven on St. Patrick's Day.

Remembering Nathan Wohlt, who passed away September, 2020. And Lindsey his wife, who also passed away. Nathan was a brilliant artist. These works were some of his finest. He was fascinating to watch. These pieces are completely cut out by hand, using either a small pair of scissors or an exacto knife. Rest In Peace, my friends.
