On Good Friday, we recall Jesus' agony during his passion as well as the suffering endured in our world today.

For whom or what do you pray on this holiest of days?

Our Neonatal and Pediatric Critical Care Transport team is specially trained to bring ICU-level care directly to patients, wherever they are.

Made up of expert nurses, respiratory therapists, and EMTs, this team works seamlessly together to safely transport premature and critically ill infants and children to the care they need, at a moment’s notice.

From babies as young as 22 weeks to patients up to 17 years old, they provide compassionate, family-centered care every step of the way. Using advanced equipment to support even the most complex conditions.

Because when every second matters, expert care is already on the way. 💙

Sweet Maggie celebrated her 1st birthday this month!

With a Minnie Mouse theme, adorable headbands and a smash cake, Maggie’s family and care team made sure her big day was celebrated in style.

Maggie was born at 25 weeks of gestation and has reached so many “minnie” milestones during her year-long stay in the NICU, but this might be her biggest one yet.

Happy 1st Birthday, Maggie! 💕

It’s Creative Arts Therapies Week, and we’re celebrating the incredible Art Therapists who bring healing through creativity. 🎨

Art therapy is more than making art. It creates space to express emotions, reduce stress and find comfort in the creative process. Our master’s-level clinicians help patients of all ages use art as a powerful tool for healing growth and self-discovery.

Join us in thanking our Art Therapists for the compassion and creativity they bring to patient care every day. 💙

Help us congratulate Laura Keefe for receiving the BEE Award!

As one of the Child Life Specialists at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital, we couldn't think of a better time to celebrate Laura and all she does for the patients and families at PMCH than Child Life Specialist Month! 🐝

Thank you, Laura, for your commitment to our patients, their families, and our mission.

That “one hour” time change? It can feel much bigger for kids (and maybe some grown-ups too 😉)

Because daylight saving time disrupts the body’s internal clock, children may experience difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking up rested.

To ease the transition:
🛏️ Keep sleep routines consistent
☀️ Increase bright light exposure in the morning, dim lights in the evening
⏰ Start shifting bedtime 15–20 minutes earlier a few days before the change

A little preparation now can mean smoother mornings later.

146 heroes, 3 days, and a whole lot of specialized training! 🚑💨

We spent time with the Carmel Fire Department, diving deep into Pediatric Specialty Training. From the Peyton Manning Children's Hospital Emergency Services, Peds Trauma and Burn care, to high-stakes scenarios with StatFlight and our Ascension Critical Care Transport Team, we’re making sure the smallest patients in our community get the best possible care.

A huge shoutout to the 126 CFD team members and 20 recruits who crushed it! It’s all about working together to keep our kids safe. 🏥❤️
