Dr. McIntire and his care team in Avon are dedicated to keeping your child healthy with preventive care and convenient same-day appointments when illness or concerns arise

“I chose to be a pediatrician because of my desire to prevent illness and problems rather than treat preventable illnesses and problems that affect the lives of patients.” - Dr. Donald McIntire

Help us congratulate Laura Keefe for receiving the BEE Award!

As one of the Child Life Specialists at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital, we couldn't think of a better time to celebrate Laura and all she does for the patients and families at PMCH than Child Life Specialist Month! 🐝

Thank you, Laura, for your commitment to our patients, their families, and our mission.

That “one hour” time change? It can feel much bigger for kids (and maybe some grown-ups too 😉)

Because daylight saving time disrupts the body’s internal clock, children may experience difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking up rested.

To ease the transition:
🛏️ Keep sleep routines consistent
☀️ Increase bright light exposure in the morning, dim lights in the evening
⏰ Start shifting bedtime 15–20 minutes earlier a few days before the change

A little preparation now can mean smoother mornings later.

146 heroes, 3 days, and a whole lot of specialized training! 🚑💨

We spent time with the Carmel Fire Department, diving deep into Pediatric Specialty Training. From the Peyton Manning Children's Hospital Emergency Services, Peds Trauma and Burn care, to high-stakes scenarios with StatFlight and our Ascension Critical Care Transport Team, we’re making sure the smallest patients in our community get the best possible care.

A huge shoutout to the 126 CFD team members and 20 recruits who crushed it! It’s all about working together to keep our kids safe. 🏥❤️

Through play, education and emotional support, Child Life Specialists help make hospital experiences less scary for kids. Our Music Therapists use the power of music to support healing across pediatrics, NICU, rehab, behavioral health and maternity care.

Join us in thanking these amazing team members for the difference they make each and every day. 👏🎶
