Tendercare is committed to providing supportive care in the familiar setting of home, where families feel empowered and involved in their loved one's care journey. Family-owned and locally operated, Tendercare Home Health Services is one of the largest private home healthcare agencies in Indiana. We offer a wide range of services for both adults and children with complex medical needs. We have also found a niche in high-tech nursing cases, especially ventilator dependent cases and high tech pediatric cases. Since the majority of our nurses have intensive-care experience or other high-tech experience, filling this specialized home care need seemed a natural route for Tendercare to follow. Our staff possesses excellent assessment skills acquired from previous nursing experiences, that in addition to the on-going training Tendercare provides with ventilator classes and mandatory annual reviews of emergency procedures, makes for an effective staff, well equipped to handle most any situation.

Joy boy and long time client of Tendercare, Will Jones, hasn’t been on his bike for over a year. But with the help of his rec therapist and Tendercare’s rockstar physical therapist, Heidi, he was back to pedaling. It took a village, but that huge smile was all worth it.

We need your help — your voice matters!

If you or a loved one receive or deliver home health services, this could impact you.
A bill at the Statehouse (SB 275) is being voted on tomorrow morning, February 11th. Within this bill is language that removes protection to reduce home health reimbursement for nurses and home health aides. Without this language, FSSA can make cuts to home health rates, putting at risk the care of medically fragile individuals.
Tendercare is advocating for families by meeting with legislators and FSSA officials.

We were thrilled to help sponsor Cocktails & Caregivers’ 3rd Annual Retreat yesterday here in Indy.

This incredible nonprofit creates space, support, and real community for caregivers walking through long-term illness, disability, or terminal diagnoses—and this retreat was such a beautiful reminder of how important that work is.

From Pilates, stretching & breathwork, art therapy, and guided journaling to a delicious lunch at the Round Room in Fishers, the day was truly about restoring the caregivers. Darcy and Kelly loved meeting so many amazing caregivers, having meaningful conversations, and even seeing some of our Tendercare families in attendance!
