Hi I’m Reed 👋🏻

I’m a licensed massage therapist and not completely terrible at it, or so some might tell you 🤷

I’ve been helping your teachers, parents, doctors, nurses, students, first responders, runners, parents and other random humans feel a bit better in their skin for about 7 years now. I’m really passionate about that but I’ve found helping others is really my main goal. I’m lots of things in addition to a LMT 😊

My partner and I like to go hiking - we started a goal to hike all the state parks (no end date becuase im not like that🤣) We are exciting to start that back up early spring! (I went outside today and trotted around a bit - brisk but GORG

You know that movie with Tom Hanks where the house they buy falls apart - we bought the same one. 😅 So THAT occupies a lot of my time and attention

I love this little bubble we’ve created and it is often my escape from a world that often feels just completely set out to be CRUEL for no reason.

grief - these are my parents and they were incredible

I struggle to talk about it because I feel
it so intensely and deeply and I also think grief is very personal at least it is to me. April has historically been a pretty challenging month for me and this April has proved similar. These are my parents and they were incredible. They have been on my mind heavily, they usually are. I’m a lucky one because that usually involves me rolling around in laughter at all the hysterical stuff we ALL got up to as a family. They were a RIOT!
•
As I’ve aged, I often think I’m forgetting the details about them. The way they said certain words, the way they would sneeze, their favorite foods, or what they disliked - the details.
•
Since they’ve been on my mind - I thought I’d share them here. Steve re-said it best - “It’s better to burn out than to fade away” 🤘
•
And if you’re stuggling with grief - talk to someone and know it always gets better. ♥️

Everyone is fine. A car crashed into our office this morning. 😅 We weren’t at the office yet. The white window is my treatment room. The impact has shifted our storage/break room and bathroom walls. 😬
•
We’ve been cleaning and sorting. I have cancelled my clients from today but I am planning to be back at it tomorrow! 🤞
•
Our landlord is working through their process of filing a claim so we just ask for your patience as we work through the paperwork and fine details. ❤️
•
I’m sure in the future we are going to have some last minute rescheduling happening as rebuilding takes place.
•
So thankful no one was hurt and their neither Erika nor I were in session! ❤️ Not sure on the events that happened leading up to it either.
