Very easy way to help understand visually! Grief is not just talking about death…. It’s loss, loss of a friendship, partner, best friend, animal, divorce, lack of control related to the pandemic, lack of seeing family, new babies meeting extended family members, etc!!

I like all of these, but the one about decision making and the frontal lobe not being developed until mid 20's.... Critical to remember!!!
ALSO, the narrative that children should control their emotions?!??!? When most of society doesn't know how to control their emotions, it blows my mind the expectations that we have that for CHILDREN!!

Yes!!! I'd say that it can't get any better than that!! For some, the holidays are a time of of remembering, feelings of grief, sadness, loneliness and exhaustion!!!
