Katie holds a bachelor’s degree in Health Services Management from Indiana University Indianapolis 🎓, where she developed a strong foundation in healthcare operations, patient-centered service, and organizational leadership. With a deep passion for helping individuals access the care and support they need, she's dedicated to creating a welcoming, seamless admissions experience for every resident and family. 💖 She works alongside our compassionate team to uphold our commitment to excellence and deliver exceptional service in every interaction.

Meet the Staff! 👋
👩‍⚕️ Heather, our Director of Nursing, has over 2 decades of experience in healthcare and has dedicated the last 7 years to nursing leadership, specifically in geriatric nursing. She is deeply passionate about the nursing profession, consistently encouraging advanced education and professionalism within her team.

A strong patient advocate, Heather strives to enhance care settings to promote excellent patient care and outcomes, all while fostering a healthy and enjoyable work environment. Her choice to specialize in geriatrics stems from the profound reward she finds in caring for and supporting the elderly, who are among society's most vulnerable. 💚 Geriatric nursing offers unique opportunities to build meaningful relationships with patients, as the extended time spent with them allows for a deeper understanding of their lives. She loves the saying: "To care for those who once cared for us is one of the highest honors."

Outside of her professional life, she cherishes time with her family, enjoys reading, participates in church gatherings, and loves to explore new places.

Please welcome our new Housekeeping Manager, Ashley. 👋 She has 23 years of experience in the hospitality field and has accomplished her Associate's degree in Criminal Justice and is currently working towards her Bachelor's degree with aspirations of becoming a juvenile probation officer.

What drew her attention to healthcare is the love for the residents, to meet and exceed their needs and for them to be happy. Her hobbies include reading and writing short stories ✍️ and taking long random drives to see the sunsets. 🌇 What motivates her the most are her children and grandchildren and striving to be a better person than she was the day before. One of her favorite quotes is, "The only impossible journey is the one you never begin."
