Meet the Staff! 👋
👩⚕️ Heather, our Director of Nursing, has over 2 decades of experience in healthcare and has dedicated the last 7 years to nursing leadership, specifically in geriatric nursing. She is deeply passionate about the nursing profession, consistently encouraging advanced education and professionalism within her team.
A strong patient advocate, Heather strives to enhance care settings to promote excellent patient care and outcomes, all while fostering a healthy and enjoyable work environment. Her choice to specialize in geriatrics stems from the profound reward she finds in caring for and supporting the elderly, who are among society's most vulnerable. 💚 Geriatric nursing offers unique opportunities to build meaningful relationships with patients, as the extended time spent with them allows for a deeper understanding of their lives. She loves the saying: "To care for those who once cared for us is one of the highest honors."
Outside of her professional life, she cherishes time with her family, enjoys reading, participates in church gatherings, and loves to explore new places.
