Nancy Kay Gardner, beloved matriarch, caretaker, and domestic goddess, passed away on May 3, 2024, at the age of 61. Born on October 14, 1962, in Indianapolis, IN, to Thomas and Lucy (Williams) Edwards, Nancy embodied generosity and warmth throughout her life.

Nancy's nurturing spirit knew no bounds. She was the personification of a caretaker, always extending her hand and heart to those in need. If she had it to give, she did. She ran her house with ease, doing everything herself, earning her the title of a true Domestic Goddess, with skills that could rival even Martha Stewart's.

Despite life's challenges, Nancy approached each day with a carefree demeanor that was both inspiring and infectious. She never allowed stress to overshadow her happiness or bring her down.

Family was supreme to Nancy, and she cherished her role as a sister, mother, and grandmother with unparalleled devotion. She was a pillar of strength and a source of unconditional love and support for her daughters, Deborah Michelle and Kristie (Richard) , and her grandchildren, McKenzi, Ryan, Haleigh, Emilee, and Lynzii.

Nancy was happiest spending time with her grandchildren, particularly engaging in outdoor adventures like camping and fishing; creating lasting memories that will forever be treasured by her family.

Nancy's love and kindness lives on through her surviving family members, including her daughters, Deborah Michelle and Kristie, and her grandchildren, McKenzi, Ryan, Haleigh, Emilee, and Lynzii; father Thomas, siblings Brenda Murello, Mark Edwards, and Michelle Edwards, as well as nephews Craig, Tyler, and Matthew, and great-nephews Craig Jr, Kyndle, Ryan, Paisley, and Waylan.

In Nancy's passing, she is reunited with her mother Lucy and her husband Edward.

Though she may no longer be with us in person, Nancy's memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration, reminding us to embrace each day with love, laughter, and unwavering resilience. She will be dearly missed.
