There doesn’t have to be a big fight
for distance to find its way in.

Sometimes it’s quieter than that.
Two people still showing up…
just not quite finding each other.

The good news?

Connection isn’t rebuilt in grand gestures.

It comes back in small moments—
a kind word,
a shared laugh,
a gentle reach toward one another.

Drift is normal.
Reconnection is possible. 🤍

Love doesn’t always announce itself.

Sometimes it’s quiet, ordinary, consistent.

It lives in the shared back-and-forth.

💚In the friend who checks in and the way you check back.
💛In the mentor or colleague who steadies you and the way you do the same for them.

Romantic partnership can be deeply meaningful.
But love itself is wider than any one container.
This month, I’m noticing where love already lives.

Recent moments have made the world feel loud, divided, and frightening. People are reduced to categories, threats, or problems to be managed.
✨
I always try to come back to my shero, Virginia Satir who reminds us that we need to see ourselves as basic miracles.
✨
This is the heart of relationship healing: seeing the person before the problem.
✨
This way of seeing makes room for dignity,
and resists the urge to fix, sort, or dehumanize,
and instead asks us to stay human with one another,
especially when it’s hardest.
✨
May we all gain capacity to look at one another with reverence first.

Stress works a lot like a ShamWow — we absorb and absorb and absorb until our system is completely saturated. And most of us don’t realize how “full” we are until something seemingly small tips us over the edge.

Letting go isn’t about pretending life is fine. It’s about giving your nervous system a chance to release what it’s been holding so you can breathe again.

If you’re feeling soaked through, stretched thin, or one more email away from a meltdown… you’re not alone. And you don’t have to wring it out by yourself.
