Step 1 – Simmer the herbs
1. Add rosehips, cinnamon, and water to a saucepan.
2. Bring to a gentle boil.
3. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 20–30 minutes, until liquid reduces by about half.
Step 2 – Steep
4. Turn off heat and cover.
5. Let steep 15–20 minutes to extract more nutrients.
Step 3 – Strain
6. Strain through fine mesh or cheesecloth.
7. Press herbs to get all liquid out.
Step 4 – Add honey
8. Let liquid cool until warm (not hot — preserves honey’s enzymes).
9. Stir in honey until fully dissolved.
Step 5 – Store
10. Pour into glass jar or bottle.
11. Refrigerate up to 3–4 weeks.
