Melissa McFall, LMHC, ATR-BC is the owner and currently the only therapist providing services within the office. Melissa is a Board-Certified Art Therapist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and has been providing mental health and art therapy services to youth and adults for 15 years in various settings ranging from youth residential care to traditional outpatient settings. She is skilled in providing evidenced based care approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy, motivational interview, and dialectical behavioral therapy informed techniques. Melissa works well with individuals who are struggling with mood related disorders such as anxiety and depression, as well as more complex issues such as post traumatic stress disorder as a result of trauma. Working with youth and their parents to navigate growing up and understanding the changes in the roles and family dynamics occurring during these phases are areas Melissa specializes in as well. Growing up is hard for both the youth and parents, and both can use support during the adolescent phase of development.
