On the second Wednesday of every month, the ES Gaming Studio at Easterseals Crossroads is alive with action. People of all abilities head up to the fifth floor to play console games, PC games, retro arcade games, and more. The goal is not just to win. It is to build connections.

One of the newest ways Easterseals Crossroads is advancing Ability and Beyond is through gaming, which offers many benefits:

• Improved learning and cognitive skills
• Improved fine motor skills
• Reduced social isolation
• Improved mental well-being

🌟 Join us for A Place of My Own, a free and informative session focused on housing options for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. 🌟

Only 11% of adults with IDD in the U.S. live independently. Many remain in family homes, often with aging caregivers. This event will help families prepare for the future by exploring residential options, funding, regulations, workforce challenges, and intentional communities.

🚒🔥 Family Firehouse Night is coming up! 🔥🚒

Join Ball State University’s Language & Learning Nook and the Fishers Fire Department for a fun, interactive evening designed especially for families with deaf or hard-of-hearing children.

👨‍🚒 What’s Happening:
4:30–5:00 PM — Tour Fire Station 91, explore the fire trucks, see equipment up close, and meet the firefighters in their gear.
5:00–6:00 PM — Head next door to Fishers City Hall for safety presentations, kids’ activities, and community engagement.

🎁 Every child receives a take-home bag of fun!
