Due to legislative changes effective today, March 10th, 2026, Safe Syringe will now be required to see a valid form of ID from participants and will operate as a 1:1 exchange. The number of used syringes returned will equate the number of sterile syringes that can be given. Staff onsite are here to support and answer questions!

Over the last three days, there has been an increase in suspected overdoses at Marion County emergency departments. Reports include use of opioids, m**h, benzos, co***ne, and spice/KD. If you would like any of your supplies tested (syringes, baggies, pipe covers, filters), come to any of the syringe exchange locations to get swabbed. We are open at 1434 Shelby St tomorrow (Tuesday) from 12:30 to 4:30 pm.

So it’s a ~little~ tricky to get to us at 1434 Shelby St right now. Shelby St is closed from Prospect to Cottage Ave. You are only able to access the building coming from the North. Here is a map of the best route (yes, we know it’s a maze - sorry!). Please note that Prospect, Morris St, and Barth are one way, so leaving the building will look a little different.
