Understanding these impacts can help inform better prevention and care strategies.

March is Brain Injury Awareness Month and Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month in the U.S. and around the world. 🧠

There are many ways a brain can be changed and many reasons brains may work differently than expected. We’re grateful to the groups raising awareness about these differences—and we look forward to the day FASD is part of these broader conversations.

The FASCETS Neurobehavioral Approach reminds us to “think brain” and ask, What if the brain has something to do with this? When we shift our understanding, we can create accommodations and amplify the strengths of individuals with brain-based differences—that’s neurodiversity celebration. 💙
