Let’s prove that eating balanced doesn’t have to break the bank.

That’s exactly what Dominique set out to show.

With just $10.50, she built a balanced meal:
• Salmon for protein
• Broccoli for vegetables
• Potatoes for carbohydrates

Too often, we hear that eating healthy is too expensive but with the right choices, it can be both affordable and nutritious.

During National Nutrition Month, the Indiana Minority Health Coalition is encouraging our community to rethink what’s possible when it comes to healthy eating.

It doesn’t have to be perfect.
It just has to be intentional.

Warm, comforting, and a great way to start the day with steady energy.

Check out her favorite Chai recipe:
👉 Punjabi Ginger Tea
Ingredients
· 1 cup water
· 1 cup whole milk (full-fat)
· 2–3 tsp black tea leaves (Assam tea from Indian stores; see brand suggestions in the comments)
· 1–2 inch piece fresh ginger, grated
· 3–4 green cardamom pods, lightly crushed
· 2–3 cloves
· 1 tsp fennel seeds
· ½ tsp ajwain carom seeds
· 2–3 tsp sugar (optional)

During National Nutrition Month, the Indiana Minority Health Coalition is encouraging everyone to make small, healthy choices that power both your body and your mind.
