Stephanie Roe, a bilingual doula with the Indiana Minority Health Coalition (IMHC) in Cass County, shares why doula support is essential for minority mothers and families.

Stephanie works with moms, helping them navigate the overwhelming moments of pregnancy, labor, and postpartum care. As a mom herself, she understands the fear, anxiety, and uncertainty many women experience. She explains how doulas advocate for mothers, especially those who face language barriers, cultural barriers, and systemic challenges in healthcare.
