Romeo V., a Medxcel maintenance tech at Ascension Via Christi in Manhattan, Kansas, noticed a patient coughing and starting to fall along the wall outside the rehab gym after his appointment. Romeo didn’t hesitate: He intercepted the fall and assisted the patient back to the gym so he could be attended to by the unit's nurses. Romeo's swift action prevented harm to the patient!

Winter Storm Fran delivered an unprecedented 12+ inches of snowfall across Evansville, Indiana. Throughout the severe weather event, Roland D., Landscaping Supervisor, worked for 72+ hours, coordinating contractor and landscaping crews to ensure all hospital and clinical locations remained accessible and safe. Roland's attention to detail ensured sidewalks, parking lots, and critical walkways were consistently maintained, allowing patients and staff to access buildings without interruption. His unwavering work ethic, calm leadership under pressure, and commitment to excellence exemplify the highest standards of service.
