Eric S., facility manager at Ascension St. Vincent Clay, identified an opportunity for safety and accessibility improvement at the hospital's front entrance. With the help of maintenance mechanic Dakota A., recycled materials were used to redesign the pathway and bench areas by adding new pavers and a fresh coat of paint. This small project made a big difference, creating a welcoming, secure, and accessible space for patients, visitors, and associates to enjoy.

We love to highlight examples of Medxcel's team members helping others in need. Josh Q., Regulatory Compliance Director, was nominated by a coworker for a recent act of thoughtfulness.

Josh was on the way to his car at Ascension St. John Medical Center when another gentleman stepped onto his elevator. After striking up a conversation, Josh realized the man was leaving after an appointment and seemed unsure of where his car was parked. He offered to drive the man around the 8-story parking garage to successfully locate his vehicle.

After a small water leak was discovered, Jenny S., Painter II, and Zibby P., Plumber III, at Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Hospital - Milwaukee Campus sprang into action. They expertly repaired the source of the leak, continuously inspecting to ensure the area had dried completely, then repaired and painted the wall. The room was reopened ahead of schedule and without having to bring in an outside vendor for the job.
