Heal at Home Heal at Home is an Indiana Home Health Agency accepting Medicaid, Medicaid Waiver and Self Pay. Care that supports family involvement.

Family Centered Focus:
Through the use of a family-centered care approach, Heal At Home nurses and home health aides work closely with the family to build confidence, and create and implement the right care plan. Care that improves the quality of lives and fosters independence. Care that gives patients and their families dignity, respect and hope. The safety of our patients and caregivers is of utmost importance to us. We educate all of our staff on how to recognize, resolve and prevent dangerous situations for our patients and employees. Heal at Home is a Medicaid home health provider.

Mary Eliza Mahoney (1845–1926)
🩹 First professionally trained Black nurse in America

Mary Eliza Mahoney became the first African American registered nurse in 1879 and spent her life advocating for equality in nursing and quality patient care. She co‑founded what would become the National Black Nurses Association.

Her legacy lives on in every nurse who provides care with excellence, dignity, and dedication.

Dr. Rebecca Lee Crumpler (1831–1895)
🩺 First Black woman in the United States to become a physician

Dr. Rebecca Lee Crumpler broke barriers in 1864 when she became the first Black woman to earn a medical degree in the U.S. She dedicated her career to caring for underserved women and children and later wrote one of the earliest medical texts published by a Black author.

Her compassion and resilience paved the way for countless future healthcare professionals.

💥IHCP FFS Vendor Change💥

J&B Medical is now the sole state vendor for fee-for-service (FFS) Medicaid incontinence supplies, which began Feb. 1, 2026.

All monthly orders must be verified before shipping, and auto-shipping will no longer be available.

FFS members, including those in the Traditional Medicaid program, are required to obtain incontinence, ostomy and urological supplies − including, but not limited to, diapers, underpads, ostomy bags and gloves − through mail order from J&B Medical.
