This is the reason so many of these Vanagons burned up from fire. It is very important to have a VW tech that knows your particular vehicle repairing it. We update these fuel hoses with 400psi steel reinforced high pressure fuel hose. Why? So you never have to think about fire again! A Porsche tech replaced these fuel hoses three years previously… The vanagon didn’t even come in for this concern. We found it on the inspection! 🧐 Saved him a lot of grief!!
