“I sure have met a lot of Nurses and Therapists
CNA’s who have servants heart 💜 they have attended to my every need and are doing the things l cannot do for myself right now with the most selflessness. It really humbles me and helps me to realize just how dependent an old independent woman can be! If this isn’t a wake up call…l believe there isn’t one out there ! And because l had to recuperate where the staff has skilled nursing care that means not just hip & knee or joint replacement care , but victims of horrific injury and special needs are herein additionally . It takes dedication and hospice hearts to endure this on a daily basis. My prayers and gratitude is with all who continue this journey of care for others unselfishly and with love of people in dire circumstances. God BLess them all 🙏🏼”

When NOLA shows up at the Lake, we show out! 🎭👑 Our residents tossed beads and blew their horns to start their day as they paraded every hall doning mask, hats, crowns, and beads! The power has been restored here already and everyone is settling in after some Chili Cheeseburgers for dinner! Hope everyone has a safe and warm night and we will update if needed..❄️🌨️

We have lost power here at the facility, which as you all know means the phones do not work either. We have administrative staff in the building keeping a close watch on the situation, our residents, as well as our staff. The outage has been reported with the facility being flagged as priority and Duke energy is waiting on this last small patch to pass before heading out to restore as fast as they can! We will update as soon as we know something here on our page and if anyone absolutely needs to reach anyone at the facility you can message through here and we will answer as soon as possible or if you have any of the admin staff’s cell numbers they too will answer what they can as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this and continue to care for your loved ones! ♥️
