When NOLA shows up at the Lake, we show out! 🎭👑 Our residents tossed beads and blew their horns to start their day as they paraded every hall doning mask, hats, crowns, and beads! Then enjoyed some Jambalaya, Deviled eggs, frenchbread, and beignets for lunch, before finishing the afternoon with some king cake and hurricanes(virgin of course😊)! 💜💚💛”Laissez les bons temps rouler" (Let the good times roll)!

The power has been restored here already and everyone is settling in after some Chili Cheeseburgers for dinner! Hope everyone has a safe and warm night and we will update if needed..❄️🌨️

We have lost power here at the facility, which as you all know means the phones do not work either. We have administrative staff in the building keeping a close watch on the situation, our residents, as well as our staff. The outage has been reported with the facility being flagged as priority and Duke energy is waiting on this last small patch to pass before heading out to restore as fast as they can! We will update as soon as we know something here on our page and if anyone absolutely needs to reach anyone at the facility you can message through here and we will answer as soon as possible or if you have any of the admin staff’s cell numbers they too will answer what they can as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this and continue to care for your loved ones! ♥️

Today is National Law Enforcement Appreciation day and while we here at the Lake appreciate each and everyone of you who put your life on the line daily, we got to celebrate some of our local boys!
