Happy Indigenous Peoples' Day!

I wanted to celebrate a few Indigenous American authors by recommending them and their books:

📚 Kaitlin B. Curtice, an enrolled citizen of the Potawatomi Nation, whose newest book is Everything is a Story: Reclaiming the Power of Stories to Heal and Shape our Lives.

Joy Harjo is a member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, an author of memoir, poetry, plays and more. Her latest book is a memoir entitled Girl Warrior: On Coming of Age.

And of course, botanist, professor, and author Robin Wall Kimmerer, a member of the Potawatomi Nation, who wrote the beloved Braiding Sweetgrass as well as more recent The Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World.

My recommendation?
Purchase, read, and share books by these and other Native American authors.
