Merry, Merry Christmas week everyone! We are excited to report that Rob got the staples out of his arm and the antibiotics continue to fight the infection. Rob still has the staples in his head and hopes to have those removed at the next appointment. In the meantime, the doctors reduced the steroids which we hope will allow Rob to regain strength in his legs. Additionally, the Drs. hope to resume the treatment schedule in the next couple weeks. Thank you all for your continued support. Please continue to pray for Rob and his family and the strength and faith they need for this journey. 🙏🙏🙏💜💜💜

Doc said today that Robs incision looks good, he will keep Rob on antibiotics for 1 month to be certain the infection doesn't return. Although Rob was really tired and still weak today he was able to go for a couple walks. The staff will continue to monitor his progress to determine when he gets to come home. Thank you all for your continued support and prayers.

Robs surgery went well today. The Dr. was able to clean out the infected area in his brain. Now they will monitor the effects of the antibiotics to insure they are doing their job and are hopeful Rob will go home in a couple days. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Since Rob's original diagnosis there have been a couple hiccups....after his initial surgery he developed an infection in his arm and in his brain. Yesterday he had surgery to remove the infection in his arm. Yesterday's surgery was deemed a success as they were able to remove the infection in his arm and begin him on antibiotics. Today he is scheduled to have surgery to remove the infection in his brain. Please continue to pray for Rob and his surgical staff.
