Timber Hills held a touching and heartfelt service "We Salute Your Service" to honor resident Veterans who have bravely served our country. It was a moving tribute filled with gratitude and reflection, as we recognized the incredible sacrifices made by these men and women to protect our freedoms. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness continue to inspire us all, and we are deeply thankful for their service and the many ways they have shaped the world we live in today. A special thank you to American Legion Post 98: St. Paul Park and to our CEO and U.S. Army Veteran Jon Fletcher, for attending the service. 🇺🇸

The Craft group gathered on Friday to make beautiful “Thankful Trees,” each one filled with colorful fall leaves listing the many blessings in their lives. As they decorated their trees, there was much heartfelt conversation about what they would write on each leaf. Residents shared stories of family, friends, good health, and freedom, just to name a few. By the end of the activity, their trees stood proudly as a reminder of how much they have to be thankful for — not just during the season, but every day.

We had a spooktacular Halloween celebration filled with laughter, creativity, and community spirit! The Halloween program by K-4 Berea Lutheran School students brought smiles all around and residents loved passing out candy! The costume contest this year was a hit and included both residents and staff showing off their fun and festive looks. From clever costumes to contagious laughter, it was a day to remember! Residents enjoyed some fun fall crafts today. Some created adorable dice scarecrows using oversized foam dice. They added faces, hats, and straw hair, bringing each scarecrow to life. Some residents painted pumpkins with fun and bright colors, turning their pumpkins into stunning masterpieces!
