You got it all planned out.
You get a gym membership, you set a date, you go, you workout for 2-hours like you used to back in high school, you're feeling GOOD, you're flexing in the mirror when no one is looking, you head out to grab a healthy smoothie, you're posting pictures on instagram with the caption "new year, new me," you're feeling the burn, but you're on top of the WORLD.

Tomorrow is a little different.
You kinda wobble back into the gym, you workout for 1-hour like you kinda used to back in high school, you're feeling ALRIGHT, you pass by the mirror, you skip the smoothie because you just want to go home and lay down, you delete the instagram post from yesterday because it was kind of embarrassing.

The third day sucks.
You know this feeling. This is DOMS. This is Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness. You skip the gym, you stare at the wall across from the toilet trying to gain the courage to stand up, you let out a Braveheart battle cry during the process, you crawl yourself back into bed, and smother yourself with 15 different heating and ice packs.

Oh, wait.
You remember you should have went and saw Tristan Hirsch Massage Therapy within a couple hours of post-first-intense-workout-you've-done-in-5-years.
