Our little warrior keeps surprising us! Out of nowhere today he got up on all 4’s and decided to just sit up on his own. This is something he has never done, and brought tears to everyones eyes.
One step closer to moving on his own!

Samuel finally got home! Thank you so much for all your continued prayers it truly means a lot. He will have good days and bad days, but it will take a little while until he feels 100% himself.

Update on Samuel,
He had a good night. They are going to try and restart his feedings soon. Yesterday was a rough day as he continued to vomit and have diarrhea. The doctors are in no hurry to release him as they want him on his home regiment for feeding and make sure he can handle.

We appreciate all of the love and support. With that being said, we’ve had a lot of requests on what everyone can do to help us during this time.

1.) Donate via Venmo-
James-Reynolds-177
2.) Please continue to pray for our little buddy and our family.
3.)Continue to Share his story.

Much love,

Update on Samuel,
This morning the doctor said they want to watch him for another 24 hours to make sure his body is handling the c diff ok and they will be checking his temp and giving meds if he needs them for his fevers. Then this afternoon during his second feeding he started throwing up and couldn't stop. They stopped his feeds and gave him fluids through his IV and gave zofran to help with the vomiting. This evening they started him on half water half Gatorade continuous feeds of 50ml an hour. He is doing good so far on it. He will be getting blood work done in the morning to make sure all his levels are doing ok and go from there. He’s still getting fevers, but thankfully the ibuprofen is bringing them down.

Samuel is back in the hospital. His heart rate and breathing was really high and we couldn’t get his fever to go down. They hydrated him in the ER, his blood work came back good. They admitted him and we are waiting on the PEDS doctor to tell us what their plan is.

Keep Samuel in your prayers. We ended up going to the hospital yesterday because he couldn’t keep anything down, having uncontrollable diarrhea, high fevers, heart rate going too fast and breathing fast. They did some tests and found out he has C Diff. He has been on and off antibiotics for months because he keeps getting ear infections and last week he had strep and ear infection. They put him on a more powerful antibiotic to help with the C Diff. We got home yesterday and he is doing a little better but still in pain and doesn’t feel himself.

Samuel got his stroller today😍🥰 He still doesn’t know what to think of it!

Samuel is finally home! The only thing that changed was doing night time feeding to see if his weight goes up. They couldn’t find out why he lost so much weight. This visit was not the best and felt like it got nowhere. The nurses and PEDs floor doctors were great, but the GI doctor was the worst! But on a good note Samuel started waving hi and bye (when he feels like it😆). He is talking like crazy and is happier than ever💜💜 Thank you all for your daily prayers!

We are stuck in the hospital. Samuel was doing amazing after coming home from surgery. This past month we have been struggling with weight loss. His weight went from 24lbs all the way to 18.06lbs. We had a follow up appointment with his neurologist and she said he needs to be admitted because that weight is way to low for a one and a half year old. They couldn’t find anything today so they are doing more testing tomorrow. His phosphorus is low so they are going to give him something through the IV to help. One positive is he has gained one pound since we have been here!👏🏼 Hopefully we can get home by before Monday morning because our middle son James is having his adenoids and tonsils removed on Tuesday. 🤞🏼🙏🏼💜
Pray for our other two also, they have been an emotional reck (including momma), it’s so hard to be away in such a short notice and not being able to say goodbye and explain to them they can’t stay with their brother.❤️
