Last week, a group of Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) cancer patients had the special opportunity to attend an Iowa Men’s Basketball practice and tour Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The visit was a meaningful moment of connection, inspiration, and community—where courage met kindness and the Hawkeye spirit shined bright.
Special thanks to Coach Ben McCollum and the team for welcoming our AYA patients and family members with warmth and energy. Experiences like these remind us how powerful support and community can be. Wishing the Hawkeyes the best of luck tonight against Western Illinois! Let’s Go Hawks! 🏀 🖤💛

Fall FUN at Sass Family Farm! AYA cancer patients and their families came together for an evening of laughter, connection, and autumn adventures at Sass Family Farm. From hayrack rides and pumpkin picking to corn activities and a petting zoo visit, the evening was packed with fun, friendship, and fresh air! 🌽🎨🍁

A Night to Remember at Kinnick! 🏈🖤💛 Thanks to the generosity of the Aiming for a Cure Foundation, Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) cancer patients had the unforgettable opportunity to attend the Iowa vs. UMass football game this past Saturday! From cheering on the Hawkeyes to Waving from the other side, it was a night filled with heart, hope, and Hawkeye pride. And what a night to be part of history - congratulations to Coach Kirk Ferentz on his 206th win! Thank you, donors, for making moments like this possible. Go Hawks!

Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) cancer patients immersed ourselves in the enchanting beauty of lavender fields at Calyx Creek Lavender Farm in Oxford, IA. The soothing aroma and vibrant purple hues created a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The gentle breeze and the buzzing of bees added to the magical atmosphere.
