The University of Iowa Police Department is searching for a missing adult.

Jerome (Jerry) Lepperd got separated from his group as they were leaving Kinnick Stadium after the Iowa-Oregon football game at approximately 6:00 pm on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025.

Lepperd is 73, 5’9”, 170 lbs, has blue eyes and light hair and has a bandage on his forehead from a recent surgery. He was last seen at Kinnick Stadium wearing a glasses, a black rain jacket with black rain pants and black tennis shoes. He may also have a dark blue stocking hat.

Lepperd is unfamiliar with the area and may become easily confused or disoriented. He did not have access to a vehicle but may have been headed toward the Hancher parking lot.

Anyone with information about Lepperd’s whereabouts should contact the UI Police Department by calling 319-335-5022.
