Our monthly Gentlemen’s Group really nailed it this time! 🔨 We had a wonderful visit from a local wood craftsman, and our gentlemen were proud to show off their own creations. What a full and wonderful Earth Day! 🌎

From relaxing on our beautiful outdoor patios, to getting our hands dirty planting in the flower boxes, to taking in the views on a scenic drive to the reservoir—it was a day spent truly appreciating the world around us.

We wrapped it all up with a wild happy hour hosted by Ryan from the Iowa Wildlife Federation—featuring some fun (or should we say wild) cocktails and an even wilder presentation! 🐾🌿

A perfect day celebrating nature, community, and the little moments that make it all so special.

Wow—another awesome semester in the books with a new group of UI nursing students! 🎓

They spent their final semester with our community, building meaningful connections with our residents and learning what truly helps them thrive. Today, they wrapped things up by hosting our weekly social hour—complete with delicious piña coladas out on the patio, followed by a fun and interactive activity inside featuring baby photos of our residents that they put together!

We wish them all the best as they begin their next chapter. We have no doubt they’ll make incredible nurses, and we’re so grateful we got to be a part of their journey! 💛🖤
