Ironically, I am with family in the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation, learning more about my family roots. Happy Indigenous Milk Week.

Indigenous Milk Medicine Week takes place the second week of National Breastfeeding Month (August 8-14) and is a time to honor, encourage, support and make visible the Indigenous experience with infant feeding. This year's theme for the week is “Strengthening Our Traditions From Birth and Beyond”.
