We had such a wonderful time at our Valentine’s Dinner at Cedar Ridge ❤️

It was an evening filled with great food, laughter, and Valentine’s fun!

And of course, we couldn’t end the night without dessert… the cheesecake from The Flour Shop was absolutely delicious! 🍰

A special shout-out to our Director of Nursing, Amy Wright, who was surprised with beautiful flowers from her amazing team in recognition of her outstanding leadership — so well deserved! 💐

Grateful for moments like these and the people who make our workplace feel like family. Happy Valentine’s Day! 💕

🧱✨We celebrated National LEGO Day with the Barlow Memorial Library LEGO Club! ✨🧱

Our residents were pleasantly surprised to see just how far LEGO sets have come over the years, from the incredible variety of colors, shapes, and sizes to the impressive designs created today. Using thousands of LEGO bricks generously donated by the Iowa Falls community. Fun challenges were tackled like:
🚗 fastest cars
🏗️ towers that can’t be knocked down
🚜 bulldozers and vehicles
🌊 and even a “will it float?” challenge (with demonstrations!)

LEGO fact time 🧠🧱
• The modern LEGO brick was patented in 1958 in Billund, Denmark
• The company began in 1932 when carpenter Ole Kirk Christiansen made wooden toys during the Great Depression
• Named LEGO in 1934 from the Danish phrase “leg godt” meaning “play well”
• In 1947, LEGO revolutionized toys by producing plastic bricks
