Her contagious laughter filled rooms with joy and her compassionate spirit touched hearts far and wide. As we gather to celebrate Kelcy's life for a lantern lighting and release Ceremony on Friday, December 29, 2023, at the Vermillion High-School track field beginning at 5:00PM, followed by a Visitation at Trinity Lutheran Church from 6:00-8:00PM. A Celebration of life will be held Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Trinity Lutheran Church, at 10:30AM

Dennis Gene Learing, age 72 of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away Wednesday, April. 19, 2023, at his home in Sioux Falls, SD.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 26th, 2023, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Irene, SD, with Pastor Mark Ostrem officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Valley Baptist Cemetery. Graveside military honors will be conducted. Visitation with family present will be 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25th, 2023, at Hansen Funeral Home in Irene, SD. A prayer service will follow visitation from 7-7:30 p.m. at Hansen Funeral Home.

Wanda “Lois” Larson, 91, of Liberty Missouri, and formerly a longtime resident of Sturgis and Wakonda, South Dakota, entered heaven on January 25th, 2023. Forever faithful to God, Lois was a steward of the gift of music and was a friend to everyone, everywhere.

Visitation will be at 9:30AM at the Hansen Funeral Chapel in Irene, South Dakota, Monday, January, 30th, with Services beginning at 10:30am. Also, Visitation will be held at 9:00AM at the United Methodist Church in Sturgis, South Dakota, Tuesday, January 31st, followed by a Service at 10:00AM and internment at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.

Karmen Lynn Broer passed away peacefully at Avera Hospital in Yankton, SD on December 13, 2022, at 3:59 PM with family and friends by her side. She may be gone, but she will never be forgotten. She was a caring daughter, loving sister, wonderful wife, great mother, it meant so much to family and friends.
